Welcome!

We are the Church of Christ Congregational in Goshen Connecticut and this is our website! We invite all people from all walks of life to join us in our faith journey together. For more information, check out our "About Us" Page.

Mission projects and work, both local and afar, have long been a vital, integral part of this church. History has shown that from the beginning of the establishment of the church in 1740, focus on mission and missionary work has been a priority.

We are proud of our history with the ordination of missionaries to the Sandwich Islands, involvement with the Cornwall Missionary School, and  participation from the early days of Heifer International.
Our church is blessed with warm and caring hearts who lovingly and generously give their time, talents and financial support regularly and cheerfully - ”loving and serving the Lord” as we are called to do. Nearly every member participates in some way - whether it is by contributing food to the needy, working at the soup kitchen or a Habitat for Humanity build; going on mission trips to various places distressed by poverty, homelessness or natural disaster; visiting or assisting the ill or shut-ins, or in many of the other endeavors listed below.

The Mission Committee oversees these projects and are always open to new and/or critical situations for review and action, as they arise. The following is a list of current, recent, or scheduled Mission activities.

Verse of The Day
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” - 1 John:18 NIV
