Drumming For Peace

Please see the calendar for dates and time.

Drumming for Peace is an international drumming event where people in each time zone drum for peace at sunset on the night of the full moon, thus passing the rhythym for peace from time zone to time zone around the world.

Sunday School

Our Sunday School meets each Sunday and offers Christian Education programs for 1st to 12th grade.  Children will experience spiritual lessons and learn how they can be applied to their daily lives.

We have a care provider on-site for the younger children as well.

Food Pantry

Open for those in the community in need.  Contact the church office for assistance.

SYNC(Supporting Youth Nutrition and Care) is a program that is being added to our community outreach.  According to the Feeding America website, children who are food insecure are 'more likely to have to repeat a grade in elementary school, experience developmental impairments in areas like language and motor skills and have more social and behavioral problems.'  This new effort is being initiated to reduce food insecurity among the children of Goshen.

With donations received we will be supplying weekend food bags each Friday of the school year, beginning after April vacation, to those who request to receive them.   Students are signed up by their parents through a survey which is handled by the school administration. The food bags will contain easy to prepare, kid friendly meals of  non-perishable food items for breakfast and lunch meals for both Saturday and Sunday.  A similar but more extensive program will be put into place for the summer and vacation periods.

Volunteers will be needed  to help fill bags with food and to deliver the bags to Goshen Center School beginning in April 2020. A cook-off fundraiser will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Watch for more details.
